Our annual Beetroot, Beer & Blues Festival is held in July every year.. It's the brainchild of Anna and Kev who own the Wheatsheaf, but also a fantastic team of organisers and volunteers. To say it couldn't be done without them would be an understatement.

Airavata and Sesa are mostly behind the Blues, Tim and Jan behind the Beetroot, while we (Anna & Kev) are behind the beer), these guys just about do it all. There's also Sue, who organises the cakes and Denise who works on the likes of the posters and marketing material. The team also help find sponsorship, which is always a lot of work, but not with much reward, so if any of you reading this would like to help sponsor us next year (or any other) please do contact us.

Honestly these guys do so much for us, and it's not just at the beer festival, the support, hard work and love, these people give all year round is beyond words. This pub would be very little without them, and the same could be said about so many of our wonderful customers, our friends. There's all the volunteers that help with the serving of the beer, manning the welcome tent, and cooking the barb, again, none of this could be done without you, thank you!
